Jeanne Fischer is Teaching Professor and Area Head of Voice at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  UNC-CH is an all-undergraduate voice program, where students work at a high level both musically and academically.

As a teacher, Dr. Fischer strives to build a strong, functional vocal technique for each student, foster their love of music, and cultivate their musicianship skills.  Her students have been accepted into top graduate and summer programs, including Rice University, Eastman School of Music, New England Conservatory, Northwestern University, Aspen, Brevard, and Music Academy of the West. They consistently score well in the state, regional, and national levels of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
